The aim of Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology is to train specialists and experts in the field of plant protection. Such experts are able to identify the harmful organisms of agricultural crops, and develop methods to control and prevent the damage of mainly biotic stresses to the crops.

Bachelor of Science

The purpose of this major is to train specialists with the knowledge of the biology of pests and disease, principals of crop protection, pesticide toxicology, and environmental science. The graduated students of this field will have the ability to identify the pest and disease which threating agricultural crops and methods of pest and disease control. The Bachelor of Science in Plant Protection requires four years of study.
